Cutting is one of the most important aspects in the entire printing process. Paper needs to be trimmed prior to the printing of some projects, before other finishing operations, and many times at the conclusion of most printed jobs. That is why, at A. Carlisle, we have Polar-Mohr Cutters from Heidelberg to ensure the quality and accuracy our customers expect. These cutters are programmable, well maintained, and are considered the best brand in the industry. Couple that with some of the most experience operators and you have the best the area has to offer.
A. Carlisle has a complete selection of folding capabilities. We have a Moll Pocket Folder which can glue tabs for key card holders and presentation folders. Letterfolds, parallel folds, signature folds, maps, gatefolds, and accordion folds are accomplished using continuous feed folders (Baum folders and Stahl folders). We have the ability to apply remoistenable glue for comment cards, application forms, and in some cases custom envelopes.
Muller Martini saddle stitching is also a common type of binding at A. Carlisle. Common projects that saddle stitch are newsletters, books, instruction manuals, annual reports, and catalogs. A three knife trimmer at the end of the machine trims each book individually making each book a masterpiece.
A.Carlisle is also able to handle all of your perfect binding needs. When choosing to print a perfect bound book, get with our professionals for the proper paper types and page counts to ensure the proper spine size. This is done in the design stages of your book. Various types of perfect binding are also available; PUR and layflat bindings for example.
We have a Shanklin shrinkwrap and heat tunnel for the final touch to your package. Shipping product across country, via UPS, or FedEx, a shrink wrap will hold your product securely so that it will arrive in the condition that you expect.
